Restoration and Finishing Grant for Qualifying Malta Properties

The current Ministry for Finance scheme can reimburse a percentage of eligible restoration and finishing expenditure on specified property categories, subject to the live conditions and 2026 application period.

Current published ceiling

Servizz.gov states that eligible applicants may apply for 18% and/or 10% of applicable costs up to an aggregate maximum of €54,000 per property under the current scheme.

Not every renovation qualifies

Property category, eligible expenditure, dates and documentation determine whether costs can be claimed.
